A new affordable housing development in New Minas is almost complete, creating 32 new townhouse homes for seniors, families and people from diverse communities across the Annapolis Valley.
I was pleased to join Housing Minister John White, Minister John Lohr, Mayor Dave Corkum, Peter Gillis and representatives from Valley Roots Housing Association on July 17 to tour one of the new units and see the progress firsthand.
Projects like this show what can be accomplished when government and community organizations work together.
