Listening to industry matters, and last week, I had the opportunity to deliver an announcement at Benjamin Bridge Vineyards alongside representatives from Nova Scotia’s wine, craft brewing, cider and distilling sectors.
Local producers have been asking for more flexibility to work together, reach new customers and grow their businesses. These changes will make it easier for producers to sell one another’s Nova Scotia-made products and establish additional retail locations.

This is about reducing barriers, encouraging partnerships and creating more opportunities for local businesses to grow, invest and contribute to our communities.

Joining us were Geena Luckett of the Wine Growers’ Association of Nova Scotia, Andrew Tanner of the Craft Brewers Association of Nova Scotia, Poet Comeau of the Nova Scotia Cider Association, Ashley McConnell-Gordon of Benjamin Bridge, Graham Collins of the Craft Distillers Association of Nova Scotia, and Greg Hughes of the NSLC.

Our region has tremendous potential. When we listen to the people building businesses here and follow through with practical changes, we help strengthen our economy and create more opportunities across Nova Scotia.
