Celebrate Jacob Rafuse

We had a very special visitor at the office this week. It was a pleasure to welcome Jacob Rafuse and celebrate another incredible accomplishment.

I first had the opportunity to meet Jacob at the Special Olympics Gala after following and supporting his journey. Since then, he has gone on to proudly represent Special Olympics Nova Scotia at the National Championships in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

What a performance he had! Jacob returned home with an outstanding four gold medals and one bronze medal.

Those medals represent a tremendous amount of hard work, determination, training, and commitment. Jacob has every reason to be proud of what he accomplished, and Nova Scotia has every reason to be proud of him as well.

It was wonderful to have the chance to congratulate him in person and hear a little more about his experience at Nationals.

Congratulations, Jacob. Keep training hard and we are all cheering you on!
