Grand Opening of Kluskap Market

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Kluskap Market yesterday alongside colleagues, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to celebrate such an important milestone with Chief Sidney Peters, Council, Glooscap Ventures, the Glooscap First Nation community, and the many guests who came from all over.

Days like this are a powerful reminder that momentous occasions do not happen overnight. From concept to reality, they represent years of planning, engagement, hard work, and determination from many people working toward a shared vision.

Kluskap Market means so much to the community, and the benefits will continue to grow as the plans for Glooscap Landing move forward. This is not only an exciting milestone for Glooscap First Nation, but a real highlight for our region and for Nova Scotia.

This was a chance to celebrate how far this vision has come, while also looking ahead to everything still to come.
