October/November in the Valley

Minister Barbara Adams, MLA for Eastern Passage, Kirk Deor, and I recently toured the Wolfville Nursing Home and met with Kirk and his team. Throughout the fall, it has been a privilege to connect with organizations, volunteers, and families across Kings South, and to also join fellow Ministers and MLAs in kicking off this year’s Devour! The Food Film Fest—an exciting celebration that showcases the creativity, hospitality, and community spirit that make Nova Scotia so special.

I had the opportunity to join the Wolfville Lions Club in celebrating their 75th anniversary and to take part in recognizing Acadia University graduates whose convocations were delayed in 2020 and 2021. I was able to attend the Home Hardware Canadian Curling Pre-Trials, the 507 F/L Mclean Royal Canadian Air Cadets Awards Ceremony, Kings County Federation of Agriculture AGM, among may other events in Kings South.

It has been a full Fall and I am so honoured to continue to serve our area!
