Last week I had the privilege of attending the 14 Wing Greenwood Change of Command Parade.
The Change of Command is one of the Royal Canadian Air Force's most meaningful traditions. The passing of the Wing Commander's pennant symbolizes the transfer of responsibility, authority, and leadership, while reinforcing that although leaders change, the mission and commitment to serving Canadians remain constant.

Thank you to Colonel Luc Vachon for his dedicated leadership and service to 14 Wing Greenwood. Over the course of an impressive career, he has served Canada at home and abroad, and his contributions have left a lasting impact on the Wing and our community. Wishing you a happy retirement.
Congratulations and welcome to Colonel Angie Thomas as she assumes command of 14 Wing Greenwood. With extensive operational experience, deep ties to Greenwood, and a distinguished career in the Royal Canadian Air Force, I know she will serve 14 Wing Greenwood well.
I am grateful for the close relationship our communities share with 14 Wing Greenwood. The women and men of the Wing contribute so much to the safety of Canadians, support international operations, and play an important role in the economic and social fabric of our region.

Thank you to everyone who serves, and to the families whose support makes that service possible. Wishing Colonel Thomas every success as she begins this new chapter of leadership.
