This weekend was filled with celebration, competition, and community spirit.

On Friday evening, I had the pleasure of attending Acadia’s Alumni Awards. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients. It was a wonderful night of recognition, celebration, and good cheer.

Saturday was another busy day in the community. The Ducks Unlimited Dinner and Auction was a sold-out success, and it was especially meaningful to see two members recognized for 20 years of service. Congratulations to them both, and thank you for your dedication.

The weekend also included the Cadets Zone Biathlon, where members of the 507 F/L McLean Squadron had an incredible showing. Four of our members placed first and second across multiple categories and will be moving on to the next level. Official results are still being finalized, and we look forward to sharing more in the coming week.

On Sunday, I popped into the craft fair hosted by Dare to Dream as a fundraiser for a new playground. It was great to see so much local support behind such a meaningful community project.

It was a busy and inspiring weekend, full of moments that showcased service, achievement, and community pride.
