Back on the doors

Back on the doors last week, we went from Lockhartville through Coldbrook, checking in with residents and hearing what is on their minds.

With the House returning on September 8, this is an important time for me to be out in our communities. It is something I make a point of doing before we return to the Legislature because those conversations help shape what I bring back with me.

One message that continues to come through clearly is the need to grow our region and our province. People want to see more opportunities, stronger communities, good jobs and reasons for families and businesses to build their future here.

I hear you. We will keep working with our colleagues, government partners, municipalities, businesses and neighbours to help bring more opportunities to Kings South and across Nova Scotia.

Thank you to everyone who took a few minutes to chat with me at the door. These conversations are incredibly valuable, and I look forward to continuing them.
