Last night, I was grateful to attend the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s 19th annual gathering, held this year in Halifax at Pier 21.

This event moves to a different location each year, bringing together senior leaders from government, health care, academia, community organizations, and other sectors for meaningful conversation and collaboration.

Minister Brian Comer joined sector partners to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and discuss the ongoing work to improve addictions and mental health outcomes for Nova Scotians.

Partnerships make progress possible. Thank you to the Mental Health Commission of Canada for bringing people together and helping connect regional experience with the national conversations shaping mental health and substance use health across the country.
